Shopping on Amazon and not sure if this Plugable UGA-2K-A USB 2.0 to VGA/DVI/HDMI Adapter for Multiple Monitors up to 2048x1152 is compatible with my computer. Your description says “Microsoft’s low-end Vista Home Basic and Win7 Starter Edition disable multiple monitors and are not supported.” I have Win7 Home Premium and don’t know if that is the “starter edition” or not. How can I tell?

The ‘Starter Edition’ is usually found on netbooks only. For example in this screenshot you can see what it would look like:

The ‘Starter Edition’ is also known as the ‘fourth’ edition of Windows 7. Look here for more details.
In your case Windows 7 Home Premium will be fine for any of our products.
