wudfhost.exe is using too much cpu. Are driver updates available?

I am driving 4 monitors off my Toshiba Win 10 laptop. Recently the wudfhost.exe process is sucking up all my cpu and I can’t work as the machine is so slow. As far as I can research, wudfhost.exe is related to searching for updated drivers and is often related to external drives, etc. I have updated all my drivers and uninstalled any external drives with no improvement. Don’t know what else to try
