My Plugable USB High Capacity External Battery (12,000mAh) will not charge my Samsung galaxy tab 4.0 8 inch. I get a message that says it will not work to prevent damaging the tablet. Why is this happening?

It sounds like your Samsung tablet doesn’t like the Apple charging signal that it’s being given. Our power bank outputs the Apple signal because this is generally the most universally accepted signal. There are a few devices that won’t accept this signal, however.
The other possibility is a bad cable. What cable are you using to charge your tablet, and does that cable work fine from your stock charger?
