Windows 10 will not detect Philips external monitor

I am connecting a Toshiba laptop running Windows 10 to a Plugable USB 3.0 ud-3900 docking station. I have connected both the VGA and the HDMI cables (and even the HDMI to VGA adapter), but the windows laptop will not recognize the external monitor. I have done a windows update for plug & play drivers, and toggled the monitor between HDMI and VGA input, but get a “no video input” message in all configurations.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for joining our forums and I’m happy to work with you on this issue. Since you’ve already run Windows Updates and updated drives I’d like to ask you to run our PlugDebug troubleshooting tool and send us the results. I’ll reach out by email since we do not want to post the tool results here and we can update this post when we have more information.

Thanks!
