I am using Plugable 3.0 port replicator for 1 display, and it was working fine both in Windows 7 and "Windows 10, until MS installed an update to Windows 10. My port replicator spontaneously ceased working. I checked to see if there was a new driver, but your website says I have the latest driver. I was thinking maybe it just changed my display configuration, but I cannot find your instructions for configuring the display in Windows, either the hard copy that came with my port replicator, or on your website. Any help you could provide would be most appreciated.
Hi Douglas,
Thanks for reaching out to us, I’d be more than happy to assist you with getting your Plugable dock working properly with Windows 10. The DisplayLink drivers do support Windows 10, so we’ll want to investigate and see what exactly is going on.
First, can you completely reinstall and update the DisplayLink drivers by following these steps:
-
Disconnect the adapter from the computer.
-
Run the DisplayLink Cleaner tool to completely uninstall existing DisplayLink Software:

Download driver v7.9 M2 from the below link and follow the installation prompts.

Reboot the computer.
-
Replug the adapter to the computer. Allow several minutes for the driver to enumerate and for the firmware upgrade to complete.
Does this help at all?
Regards,
Stephen
