Windows 10 not able to connect to external speakers

I have the USB-BT4LE.

I tried the Drivers that were with the install CD and then downloaded new Drivers from your web site.

I can Pair the Devices, a Bluetooth speaker and an Amazon Echo.

I am not fully trusting the the Pair is correct, as the devices do not make the acknowledgement tones as they do on other systems.

What if any steps am I missing?

Stephen

Hello Stephen,

Thank you for your post.

I would like to help investigate what could be going wrong. To do this, I’d like to get some more information. Please contact us at support@plugable.com and reference case #228283 with replies to the following:

• What is the make and model of the Bluetooth speaker?

• What is your Amazon Order ID for the Plugable Bluetooth adapter?

• Lastly, could you run our diagnostic program? It will gather device information and installation logs that will help me understand what is happening.

To do this, please have the adapter plugged into your computer, then go to this page and follow the instructions there:

http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug

Once I hear back with more information I’ll help to get things working.

Thanks!
