Windows 10 laptop + 2 displays as a continuous Windows desktop

Hello

I have Win 7 setup that allows me to use all 3 screens (laptop’s + 2 connected to the docking station). My cursor goes through all 3 screens and I can move applications to any screen needed.

I connected the same station to Win 10 laptop and it connected to both displays. I can see “1|3” on each of them. How do I have them as 3 different “linked” screens?

Do I need to use any Plugable software to configure.

I could not do it with Win’10 System Tools. Have I missed something?

Please clarify. Thank you.

Eugene

Hello Eugene,

It sounds like your monitors are set to duplicate mode. This can be changed in the display settings and we have a video from our guy, Bob on how to change this!

You can find this video here: https://youtu.be/0jDgITDfZAs

Essentially you need to do the following:

  • Right click your desktop and select “Display Settings”

  • Select the monitor you see with “1|3”

  • Select the drop down menu next to “Identify” and select “Extend these displays”

Let us know if this helps!

Sincerely,

Mychal

Hello Myke,

I arranged and extended my screens.
