Will this give me 200mb on my Virgin fibre optic link?

I can get a speed of 100mb with my existing card.

I can get 100mb with the USB2 Plugable 10/100/1000 but can it switch or be switched to 200mb?

This USB2-E1000 will detected the network automatically.

The network throughput speed depends on not only the network interface but also a lot of factors in the network. In theory this adapter could get up to 480 Mbps (the limit of USB 2.0) but in the real world, it cannot get that fast.
