Will the Plugable USB serial adaptor work connecting an iMac (OS Lion) to a HP Laserjet 4 printer? The HP4 has both a serial and a parallel port. Thanks!

Thanks for asking!

While any serial device should theoretically work, there are a lot of settings on a serial adapter that can make configuration tricky. HP is better aware of the specific settings that are relevant here, but feel free to give it a shot and let us know if you run into issues.

We just installed a docking station (ud-3000) and it appears our LaserJet HP4 Plus is no longer working when plugged into the docking station. Any suggestions to fix this, while keeping the docking station, would be much appreciated.
