Yes, your system is a good match. Intel graphics has the fewest compatibility concerns. The Core 2 Duo CPU would only be just powerful enough for higher-res modes under Windows 7, but for Windows XP (which is less graphically demanding), it’s plenty of CPU.
So as long as your main scenario is normal web browsing and business applications (not gaming) on the USB display, this should be a very good match.
