Will DVI Cable work with MacBook Pro and older monitor

I have a USB-C MacBook Pro connected to the USB-C Docking Station. IT charges nicely but the DVI Cable (I tried 2 and rebooting) does not make the monitor work or have it be detected by my laptop.

Hi Garrett,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us, I am sorry to hear that you are running into this issue, but I would be more than happy to assist!

The DVI port on the docking station is powered via the DisplayLink chipset inside of the docking station. In order for the DisplayLink based devices to function correctly, the DisplayLink drivers need to be installed, and then their extensions need to be un-blocked inside of gatekeeper.

When you have a moment, please download the DisplayLink drivers from this link -> https://s3.amazonaws.com/plugable/bin… and then reboot your system. Once the system is rebooted, make sure the driver extension is not being blocked by follow the instructions located at this link -> https://plugable.com/2017/10/16/macos…

Please let me know if this helps resolve the issue!
