will cable work if you have different sped ports 2.0 3.0 on old/new computer

every thing works fine until i get to plug in cable. both old computer and new computer screen say "awaiting cable plug in.
I have tried different ports on bothe computers.

my old computer has 2.0 ports. my new computer has 3.0 ports.

troubleshooting on new computer says cable/ports not compatable, will not work.

Is there a fix for this?

The cable should work fine with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.

Are you using the Bravura Easy Computer Sync software?
