Will a powered USB 3 pluggable hub work with no power supply connected the same way that an unpowered USB 3 hub will work?

There are many 4 port USB 3.0 unpowered hubs. Will a Pluggable powered usb 3.0 hub work the same way as the unpowered hubs if it doesn’t have the power supply connected?

Thanks for asking. All of our USB 3.0 powered hubs will not work without their power adapters.
