Why does the NIX capture care not work properly with a ps3 on OBS?

I recently received my NIX capture card to capture gameplay on my PS3, I also purchased a HDMI splitter to bypass the HDCP, But I go into my OBS software and I’m not receiving any signal from the capture card, it is plugged in on a usb 3.0 port, and my HDMI cables are fine, the splitter is also brand new with no issues to be seen, is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out to us about this. I’m sorry for any trouble here. PS4 and PS5 have a setting for this, but PS3’s are hardcoded with HDCP on. We unfortunately can’t guarantee this type of setup will work.

Feel free to take an OBS log and send it to us directly at: support@plugable.com and we can take a look to check for errors.

Are you able to try testing another source that doesn’t have HDCP, or at least where HDCP can definitely be turned off?
