What plugable product would work best to give me twin 24" displays?

I have a sony vaio laptop running windows 7 and two 24inch Samsung monitors which I want to run as an extended desktop. I also have numerous network drives and hubs and speakers etc to connect. Help! I am based in UK

Hi David,

Thanks for posting your question here about the best Plugable Product for your needs, I’ll be happy to help.

If you’d like to connect your speakers, drives, and two monitors to your laptop a good solution would be a docking station. Your laptop most likely has a video out that your could use for one of the monitors and then if you should be able to connect the rest of your devices to one of our docking stations.

We have both a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 version. You can see them both here:

I hope this helps! Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.

Thanks,
Jerome.

Do you have any product which supports two monitors?

Dev

Hi Dev,

Thank you for your question. At present, Plugable does not offer any product that allows two monitors to be supported from one device. However, we will be releasing a docking station that supports that, probably in the third quarter of this year. In the meantime, you can also support two monitors by attaching one to the docking station, and using a USB adapter for the second. Hope it helps!

Can you please suggest an USB adappter?

Hi Dev,

If your monitor uses a digital input, I recommend our Plugable USB3-HDMI-DVI USB 3.0 to HDMI/DVI Adapter for Windows. You can see it on our website at:

If your monitor uses an analog input, I recommend our Plugable USB3-VGA USB 3.0 to VGA Adapter for Windows. It’s webpage is at:

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
