WD Red 3TB HDD compatibility with Plugable USB 3.0 Dock

I have just purchased a plugable USB3-SATA-UASP1 dock for 3.5 inch HDD. I intend to use this with my new uninitialized WD Red 3 TB Drive. Will it recognize and work?

Can anyone confirm compatibility? Share experience?

We have a 3TB Red drive for internal use and it’s worked quite well with the UASP1 in our internal testing.

Since the drive has been tested with the UASP1 dock, could you please share the data transfer speed, temperature during operation or any other observation you had during testing. This will be a value add to customers.

Hello,

Unfortunately we did not record the data at the time of the compatibility tests and we no longer have the drive available.

We only check for the drive to be recognized by the dock properly and for performance to be within the expected range of the drive specifications.
