Wake Asus Chromebook in Clamshell Mode?

I have connected a Chromebook to my plugable USB-C Docking Station (with Power Delivery). My Chromebook is an Asus C302C.

Is it possible to wake this Chromebook from sleep via a USB-connected mouse or keyboard and then use it in Clamshell Mode?

Hi Seth, thank you for contacting Plugable support. Unfortunately, this does not work while using our UD-CA1A docking station. During our internal testing with the Asus C302 Chromebook we have been unable to wake the system in clamshell mode. It may be possible to do so, but not through our dock.
