VERY low output audio quality when enabling the microphone input of a BT headset.

I bought a Photive BTH3 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H…) and a Plugable USB Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Micro Adapter to use for listening to music ant talking through Skype in my Windows 7 64 bits PC. The problem is that whenever I chose the headset mic as the input source for Skype I immediately get extremely poor audio quality out of the heaphones. Otherwise it works just fine.

I installed the latest drivers from Plugable’s website and already got a useless answer from Photive’s support. Is there anything else I should try?
