Using USB Logitec Headset makes laptop restart

When I plugin my Logitech USB headset into one of the USB plugs on the docking station, my Dell Precision 3571 restarts. It does not happen if I plug the headset into the laptop directly, only if I plug it into the docking station or anything connected to the docking station.
