I recently got the Plugable USB-C Docking Station. When trying to plug in the ethernet cable, it is recognizing it being plugged in on my Macbook, however, it is saying “Plugable Dock has a self-assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to the Internet.”
I am not sure how to fix this. Thanks!
Hi Ryan - Please see my direct response asking for logs. If you are using the docking station with Mac OS X, you can try this fix here -> http://www.cultofmac.com/84767/how-to… to see if this helps. If I am totally off (I am guessing at this point) and you are using Windows, I can dig deeper via the logs.
