USB3-SATA-U3 Hard Drive Docking Station powering down for no reason

My Plugable USB3-SATA-U3 Hard Drive Docking Station keeps powering down soon after I flip the switch. I’ve checked the power adapter and everything is good. I’m using a USB 2.0 cable plugged into a PC.

Do you have any suggestions?
