USB3-HUB7-81X intermittently stops working

Using this hub with a Macbook Pro. Sometimes it stops working–all lights out. After unplugging all cables, including power cable and a/c adapter cable, and reconnecting, still didn’t work. I waited a while disconnected/reconnected again, and now it works. This has happened a couple times before.

Wondering if this is a faulty unit, or if there’s something else to check? Still under warranty.
