USB3 E-1000 Unidentified Network, No Internet

My USB3 E-1000 adapter is not working. I get an Unidentified network, no internet message. I rebooted, switched the usb ports, and used a different cable that is known to have no issues. I’m working on a Lenovo with a Windows 10 platform. It did load the driver when I inserted the usb into the port. Any ideas?
