USB2.0 Cable with a USB3.0 7 port hub?

Can I use a USB2.0 cable to connect a USB3.0 7port hub to the computer? I understand that the speed will be limited to USB2.0 speeds.

Thanks for posting your question here! As USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0, you can definitely connect the Plugable USB 3.0 Hub to the system using a USB 2.0 cable.

Drop down to USB 2.0 speeds will occur as expected. We do not expect you to see any issues at all.
