USB-WIFINT Plugable USB-WIFINT USB 2.0 802.11n WiFi is not "Plug & Play" in MAC OSX 10.8 HELP!

I ran the installer & have the program showing in the dock - but it does not connect to any of the available wifi networks. No option to choose existing, nor to enter in / create a network. Amazon ad said plug and play - but it is far from that. HELP PLEASE!

Hi Joe,

Thank you for contacting us about the USB-WIFINT. I’m sorry you are having problems getting it installed.

Actually, there was a mistake in the product listing that has already been corrected. The USB-WIFINT is *not* plug and play for Mac OS-X. Instead, there is a driver at the link below and also on the CD that comes with the adapter that will get it working for you.

You will need to use the included Realtek utility for making a new wireless connection to an access point.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. Please let me know if this works for you or if you have any issues come up.

Thank you,

David
