I like to use the usb to network adapter for Failover clustering and hyper-v live migration, do you think it will support these advanced windows networking features ?

This should be no issue since this is standard TCP/IP traffic. I’d recommend the gigabit USB2-E1000 over the megabit USB2-E100 for increased speed due to the large volumes of data you’ll likely be pushing.
