Are there plans to support the USB Serial Adapter in ChromeOS?

Hi, thanks for contacting Plugable support. The drivers for the serial adapter are in the kernel from which ChromeOS is derived, but Google hasn’t necessarily included those drivers or–even if they are there–created apps that have a way to talk to USB-to-serial devices. We’re sorry that it isn’t possible to use the cable with ChromeOS at this time. Thanks again for your question.
