I recently purchased a new USB 3.0/2.0 SATA Hard Drive Docking Station. When connected to my macbook air or Mac pro, i get an error after 30 minutes or so that the device has been removed (shouldn’t remove without ejecting properly…etc) and the device is not available. I have to disconnect and reconnect. I updated to latest firmware (using a PC) but it still disconnects after a while. I am using the 2.0 USB cable along with 2.0 ports.

I just got the USB 3.0 SATA dock as well and it’s disconnecting on me too. Is there any update on this problem? Is this a heat issue?
