USB Mouse is ignored

#1

openSUSE 42.1 used kernel version 4.1.12 and the mouse worked perfectly.
After upgrading to 42.3 (kernel 4.4.85), the mouse does not work. The mouse is enumerated, but the URB interrupts are not seen. It works correctly when plugged directly into a USB port on the computer and when plugged in via a switch. The failure is only when plugged into the hub with the hub plugged into the switch. Other devices plugged in that way (keyboard, SD card reader and touch pad) all work correctly. Only the mouse fails. I have not tried bypassing the switch from the hub. (Highly inconvenient, so I’ll try later…)

Any suggestions? (I mailed in a couple of plugdebug-linux zip files, btw.)

Oh, this is the 7 port USB 3.0 hub with two powered ports.
