USB devices only work sometimes - have to plug/replug to get them working

MacbookPro 10.15 + UD-ULTC4K with latest drivers

When I plug my dock in, my USB devices only work sometimes - often the keyboard or my external camera don’t work, and I have to unplug/replug in to get them working. Just unplugging/replugging the device doesn’t help - I have to unplug the dock from my computer and plug it in again.
I’ve tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers.

Any other thoughts about how I can get my USB devices to connect consistently?

Is this a new dock or one that you’ve had for some time already? If it’s a dock you’ve had for a while, is this a new issue, or one that’s been happening since you purchased the dock?

Also, can you confirm if you’re still using the USB-C to USB-C cable the dock shipped with and not a third party cable?
