Internet is “slow” on my connection. Directly connected, laptop gets 350Mbps on speedtest. When using the hub’s ethernet port, laptop only gets 30Mbps.
I’m using a new macbook pro.

The first thing I would like to check is to make sure you are using the latest DisplayLink 4.0 Mac drivers:
If you’ve not yet updated to this version then take a look at the instructions here to uninstall the old version first:
If that doesn’t help we’ll want to look a little closer at the network connection settings through the dock. I’d also ensure you’ve disabled WiFi just in case the system is defaulting to that connection when using the dock instead of the Ethernet on the dock itself.
