usb-c + new macbook - hdmi display not working

Hi

I have the new macbook connected to a USB-C docking station - HDMI port is connect via a converter to a displayport on a HP E221C display

I also installed the displayport drivers on this site

I cannot get the monitor to detect a signal on any of its input ports

Any ideas ? thanks

Hello David - To answer your question: Does the UD-CA1 docking station support DisplayPort monitors? The answer is unfortunately, no.

While we appreciate DisplayPort technology, we chose to implement HDMI for compatibility with the widest number of monitors. Please note that DisplayPort to HDMI adaptations (as with any adapter involving protocol/signal conversion) are not bidirectional. Such adapters will not allow an HDMI output port (such as those on the dock) to function with a DisplayPort input on a monitor. I am very sorry about this!
