There is a windows11 update today, suddenly usb-c 4k docking station stops working. I have 3 monitors connected through usb-c station, but windows 11 suddenly only display 1 monitor, but not other 2. In “Settings”, try to detect multiple monitors, it doesn’t detect at all. I tried to un-insall display link driver and re-install it again without any luck.
Laptop is DELL XPS 15 9500
Here is the Windows 11 latest version and build:
Edition Windows 11 Home
Version 21H2
Installed on 11/22/2021
OS build 22000.376
Here is display driver version: 10.1.2875
FYI, I tried run “Device Manager”, under “Display adaptor”, there is no “plugable” found.
Thanks for contacting us! I am sorry this is not working as expected.
Based on your description of the behavior, our first step is to get some additional information from your system, to check for any other software updates that may be required to re-enable the docking station’s two DisplayPort outputs.
If you would, please keep the dock connected to the computer with monitor(s) connected tot he docking station (even though two are not working) and attach the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug ( http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug ) to an email to ‘support@plugable.com’ with the subject line ‘Ticket #364457 - Attention Pat’ as this will allow us to examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps.
