USB 3 Card no longer detecting external USB 33 TB Drive

Hi,

I have a Plugable PCI Express to SuperSpeed USB 3.0 2-Port Expansion Card for Desktops (NEC/Renesas Chipset) card that no longer detects my 3tb seagate usb 3 drive. I have rebooted it and also taken the card out and also reinstalled the drivers but the drive will no longer detect the 3 tb drive. The external drive does detect when plugging into the built on USB 2 of the MB though.

  2. Does the card work with something simple like a USB mouse?

  3. Will the drive work with a USB 2.0 cable connected to the Seagate?
