I lost my cable for USB Plugable 3.0 and ordered a USB 3 Cable, USB 3.0 A to B Cable from Amazon and my full size monitor is not working as my second screen. Is the Plugable cable proprietary ?

While not exactly proprietary, we do strongly recommend only using the cables included and official Plugable replacements as we can speak to the quality of the cables we have tested.
