USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter not working with fully updated Windows 10.

I received my plugable usb 3.0 to HDMI adapter today. I made sure Windows 10 was completely up to date before installing the drivers and connecting the device. I read the common Windows 10 issues blog post. No luck with anything there. My second monitor is recognized by Windows 10. I can “extend the desktop.” However, the monitor indicates No Signal. Any ideas?

Hi Tim,

Thanks for posting. We’ll want to have a look at some system logs to see if they give us a better indication of what’s causing the reported behavior.

At your convenience, please download and run our troubleshooting tool from the page below:

It will save a .ZIP file to your Desktop which can then be emailed to for us to have a look. (Please use “Ticket 116642” in the subject when you send it to us.)
