Why am I only getting a speed indication of 100 Mbps for my Gigabit wired ethernet connection? The same cable results in 1GB speed on my other laptop connected directly to the cable.
I have new 3.0 dual display docking station attached to Asus Zenbook UX305LA running Windows 10 v 1511.

Given your description, the first thing to check is the speed and duplex settings for the Ethernet adapter in the dock. Using that guide if you set the option to 1.0 Gps Full Duplex does that help?
