Hi Zacharias Cohen Ojalvo,

Thanks for your post. We sell the Plugable PCI Express to SuperSpeed USB 3.0 2-Port Expansion Card for Desktops (NEC/Renesas Chipset).

Here’s a link:

Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with AKE products and can only provide support for Plugable devices.

Sorry I don’t have better news.

Thanks,
Jerome.

I just received the same AKE card that Zacharias bought- Have the exact same problem the cd-rom does not download the driver correctly- very frustrating as i bought two cards one 3.0 express and one 2.0- which did not fit in my card slot.

I am using a Lenovo W500
Microsoft XP Pro Version 2002 SP3 running a Intel Core Duo CPU T9400 @2.53GHz blah blah blah.
Zacharias, did you find the answer?

thanks

Hi Dave,

These are the drivers that I currently have installed. They work fine. On my Laptop I installed 2 different drivers. The one that is mentioned before in this website and one of the drivers that came in the mini cd. (Note. My cd drive is bad so I copied the files to a USB drive on another computer and installed them from there). The problem that I am having is that when I turn on my computer I get an error message that says that the USB port replicator does not have enough power. The easy fix is to unplug and plug back in. But its a little annoying.

Everyone with a AKE USB 3.0 Expresscard seems to be looking for this so I went to the trouble of making it available. The drivers are ripped from the microCD that came with the Expresscard. There were 3 different file packages on the disk. I installed each of them until I found the one that worked. The one that works is called Asmedia 104x USB3.0 Host Controller Drive. Here is the download link to the file uploaded in my Skydrive account.

The drivers work for me, install at your own risk.
