USB 3.0 Docking Station Crashing on Windows 10

I have emailed support 3 times but nobody responds so I ended up here. Not
sure what is going on with their customer svs?

Problem:
I get the blank or blue screen on my HP Pavilion laptop( about 1.5 years old). And it
also blanks out the screen that I have it connected to via HDMI cable for a few seconds from time to time.

I have done the following:

  1. change to another usb port on my laptop

  2. change my HDMI cable to higher quality one

  3. uninstalled displaylink software with the cleaner tool :

  4. reinstalled the displaylink device driver to the latest one from their site

I running two external monitors and they are both HP VH240a 23.8-inch Full HD 1080p IPS LED Monitor with Built-in Speakers and VESA Mounting…

Note, I didn’t have any problems when I had one HP VH240a monitor and other one was an LG but the LG went bad so I ordered another HP VH240a monitor and now the problem. But the docking station is connected to the older VH240a and not the new one.

Bought the docking station in May of 2019.

For the benefit of anyone of anyone else following this thread…

We received this customer’s original emails and replied quickly to all of them with the next steps, however the customer was not receiving our replies.

We reached out to him directly via the Amazon Marketplace in an effort to circumvent the problem (which was successful), and ultimately it was determined that our previous replies were being incorrectly labeled as ‘spam’ by his email client.

We are now in direct communication with the customer in order to move the process forward.

Should any of our other customers not receive a timely response from Plugable, please be sure to check your ‘spam’ folder to ensure our replies are not being incorrectly flagged as spam.
