I just bought the USB 3.0 Display Adapter VGA. When I plug it in the driver downloads nice and the added monitor comes on. When I power up my HP Envy notebook the next time, I get a blue screen stating there is a driver issue. I go through the steps to bring my PC back to before I installed the driver in order to get my PC working again. I have tried re-installing the driver three times and get the same issue each time.
Any Advice?
Hello,
Thanks for posting your question here in our support forum, we’ll be happy to help. The most common cause of Blue Screen crashes with our graphics adapters is a driver conflict. If you have previously installed drivers from another USB graphics provider you’ll need to uninstall those drivers first and then re-install the DisplayLink drivers. If that’s not the case or if that doesn’t help please run the DisplayLink Support Tool and forward the log file that it creates over to us at support@plugable.com along with your Amazon Order Id, the serial number of your device and a link to this thread.
Here’s instructions on how to run the support tool:

Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jerome.
