So does this Plugable connector increase the mbps speed?

Thank you for posting the question. The network speed depends on a lot of factors, but not only on a network adapter. For example if you are using a home network with an ISP, most of the cases the max transfer rate is limited by the “actual” speed that the ISP can provide.
