Vista system says installing driver for unknown device installed properly, however, when I replug it in to USB port, windows keeps prompting me to install driver. How do I get this thing to work if windows doesn’t recognize the device? It is NOT plug and play.

Thank you for posting your question about the Multi Card reader. I’m sorry you are having problems with it.
It should be plug and play, but something is going wrong, either with the device itself or with the driver installation process in your computer.
We have a troubleshooting tool that helps us find out what is going on in situations like this. Please plug the device into your computer, then go to this page and follow the instructions there:

Please send the resulting file to us directly at support@plugable.com and put “For ticket #41529” in the subject line.
Of course if the device is the problem, we will send you a tested replacement right away.
