UD-160-A USB 2.0 Universal docking station worked fine when using my windows 7 laptop, however when I connect a windows 8 laptop the drivers appear to install but nothing on the docking station works…

Thanks for posting your question here! Could you connect the Plugable UD-160-A to the Windows 8 system and run the DisplayLink Support tool (instructions here: http://plugable.com/support/displayli… ) and email the resulting .zip to support@plugable.com along with your Amazon order ID and a link to this thread?
This would give us a better insight as to what is going on. Once we analyze it we can figure out how to resolve the issue.
