USB 2.0 Digital Microscope does not present image

Received Friday, the device was working fine (via Photo Booth) just as it came out of the box. Today (Monday) it is no longer presenting an image to the computer. There is still communication via the USB port as the LED lights turn on/off as the device is selected/deselected in Photo Booth, but no image appears on the computer screen.

For others experiencing issues similar to this, it turns out this unit was defective. This was our immediate suspicion, so we quickly sent out a replacement. The new unit arrived and worked exactly as expected.
