I have a VAIO with USB2.0 ports and HDMI output (max 1920x1080). I have bought an LG 29UC97 ultrawide monitor, and I need an external card adaptor to provide me with the 2560x1080 resolution to drive the monitor. What product can you recommend? I can ́t find one that will state it does this particular resolution!

Thank you for showing interest in our products. As long as the monitor’s EDID (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extende…) signal can be detected by the display adapter, and you use the UGA-4KHDMI -> http://plugable.com/products/uga-4khdmi. I would also recommend using a HDMI 2.0 cable so you can later easily upgrade to a 4K monitor.
