Unit is not recognised by laptop once the laptop has gone to sleep and woken up

Hi - I purchased the USBC-6950PDZ unit from Amazon last week and I have been using it successfully with my MacBook Pro M1 2020 running 13.0.1 (22A400). The screen sharing is fine with the Displaylink installed however when I step away from the laptop and it goes to sleep for longer than maybe 5-10 minutes, when I wake it up the screens are no longer registered by my laptop. I also have an external hard drive connected to the Pluggable unit, that too is lost according to the laptop.

They are only seen by the laptop once I unplug and plug back in the unit. If it is asleep for a few moments, this problem doesn’t happen.

Please can you share a fix for this issue?
