unable to connect to internet

AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet has a self-assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to the Internet.

Thank you for your post! I’m sorry you are having problems connecting to the Internet with our adapter. I replied to your Amazon message on Wednesday and have yet to hear back.

This is most likely due to the adapter being configured for a static IP address or not receiving an address from your modem or router.

Could you please send a message to support@plugable.com with “Ticket #219337” in the subject line and let me know if you are using this in your Home, work/enterprise, or school/medical industry?
