UGA USB 2,0 display adaptor causing irratic wireless mouse on Windows 10

Can either Tech Support or another user shed some light on this matter?

Logitech wireless mouse has become very erratic on the secondary display using the USB adapter; on webpages heavy in graphics or video; the mouse cursor jumps around and it is just plain unusable. On low graphics pages it works fine. Windows 10.

Can anyone help?

Thank you!!!

Hello,

Sounds like you need to turn off graphic acceleration in your browser.

A clean DisplayLink driver installation would be my suggestion if the before mentioned fix does not help:

  1. Disconnect display adapter from the computer
  2. Uninstall DisplayLink Core software from Control Panel -> Programs. Do not worry if this fails, just move onto the next step.
  3. Download and run the DisplayLink cleaner tool -> http://displaylink.com/support/sla.ph…
  4. Once the Cleaner has been run, reboot (do not close the window until you see the message “Cleaning complete. Press ENTER to end.”)
  5. Now download and run the latest DisplayLink software from our downloads page -> http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/…
  6. Reconnect the display adapter to the computer when prompted to do so and test.

Kind regards,
