Hello,
I have a Surface Pro 3 w/ dock and 2x Plugable UGA-3000s plugged in to support 2x 27" Dell displays.
While working on either external display, the cursor stutters and lags to the point of being almost unusable.
There is no problem when I am not working on anything, but as soon as I open up any apps it slows to a crawl.
I have installed the most recent DisplayLink drivers (7.7 M4) and that made things a bit better, but it is still a bit painful.
Is there a confirmed fix for these problems or am I missing something obvious?
Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hi Benjamin,
Thanks for posting. I’d be happy to help!
By any chance are you using a wireless mouse? You probably have already checked but are the batteries new or fully charged? Is the receiver plugged into one the USB ports on the Surface dock next to where the adapters are connected?
Any USB 3.0 device connected to your system (not just our adapters) can emit RF interference in the 2.4Ghz range that is used by most wireless receivers. I would try moving the receiver to the USB 2.0 port next to the mini DisplayPort output of the Microsoft dock to move it as far away as possible from the USB 3.0 ports and/or add a short USB extension cable (which usually come with most wireless mice and keyboards) to move the receiver even further away from the dock itself to see if that improves the behavior.
Let us know if our assumptions are correct and if the suggestions help when you have a moment and we’ll go from there.
Thank you,
Bob

Thanks for the quick reply Bob, very much appreciated!
I’m just away from my office at the moment but I will test as soon as I get back.
Hi Benjamin,
Just let us know the results when you have time…
