UD3900 - Connecting Soundbar to HDMI port and monitor to DVI port

Ud3900 - can I connect hdmi sound bar using hdmi connector and monitor using the DVI connector? I have read that there are issues with connecting soundbar to HDMI port…thanks in advance

Thanks for posting, and I would be happy to answer your question.

We haven’t tested in our lab connecting the dock to a soundbar via HDMI with a pass-through to a TV, so we can’t guarantee compatibility. In theory what you are describing should work, but as we haven’t tested it we can’t guarantee results. Should you elect to move forward with your purchase to try it out and find it does not work as intended, we do offer a 30-day no-hassle return policy. If it does work, we would appreciate you letting us know that it did and which soundbar you used.
